JSS College of Physiotherapy is provided with extensive and cohesive learning system through academic society. On first and third Saturdays of each month a topic will be provided from the curriculum of Physiotherapy. Students from each year from 1st BPT to 2nd MPT will be presenting on particular topics within their syllabus. At the end of each academic year, academic week celebration will take place for a week with a set 7 to 10 events. Dates will be announced prior to the program.

The academic week celebration for the year 2017-2018 had been commenced from May2, 2018. As a initial step meeting was held up with staff (Mansoor, and Alagarasan) and students council members to plan about the events and the rules and regulations. Then the rules and regulations of each events were displayed on the respective notice board of each classes. The participants name list were priorly collected from academic representatives of each batch. Then the schedule of each event including the timing were framed and announced to the students.
There were about eight events in which both under graduate and post graduate students of JSS College of Physiotherapy actively participated. The events included in the academic week celebration were pick & speak, paper collage, model making, academic damsharades, quiz, platform presentation, poster presentation, and debate. Events such as pick & speak, paper collage, academic exhibition , quiz preliminary round and debate preliminary round took place from 4 -6 pm on 10/5/18 to 19/5/2018. Final round of debate, quiz, and academic damsharades took place on final day of academic week celebration which was on 19/5/18. The prizes were announced for the winners immediately once the event had ended. The winners were awarded with the prizes on the college day celebration.
