The JSS College of Physiotherapy encourages students to participate in various sports activities.

We also conduct Annual Sports Meet every year. We have an MOU with SJCE to use their ground for our annual sports day celebrations.

We have a dedicated sports room, which provides scope to practicing various indoor games, which include the following.

CULTURAL REPORT 2013 – 2014

The first cultural activity done in college was FRESHERS DAY. It was held on 13th November 2013 at Ragendra auditorium. Lhakpa Tsering, Abdullah Zohaib, Sushmitha , and Neha HR was awarded Mr. Fresher, Mr. Handsome, miss fresher and Miss Elegant respectively. Vishnu suresh and Akshitha Jain wers awarded Mr. And Miss all-rounder respectively.

The next cultural competition initiated by students council was ETHNIC DAY on 1ST January 2014 at Regendra auditorium. Cultural week for the students was conducted at Ragendra auditorium on 8th February 2014. It included both on stage and off stage events like singing, dancing, Photography, collage making, best out of waste and other numerous programmes. All on stage event was on morning and off stage events was at afternoon 2pm. The great participation from the students made it a successful event.

CULTURAL REPORT 2014 – 2015

The first cultural activity done in college was FRESHERS DAY - “SHINE LIKE TWINKLING STARS”. It was held on 15 november 2014 at Ragendra auditorium. Nikhil Govind, pooviah C R, Anusha Purushothaman and Krishna Rajeev was awarded Mr. Fresher, Mr. Handsome, miss fresher and Miss Elegant respectively.

Christmas was also celebrated in the month of December 2016.

Cultural week for the students “SAMBRAMA – 2015 ” was conducted at Regendra auditorium december 2015. It included both on stage and off stage events like singing, dancing. Table top cooking, photography and other numerous programmes. The great participation from the students made it a successful event.

On march 2015, COLLEGE DAY and MAGAZINE REALEASE were conducted at Ragendra auditorium. It was first magazine to be published in JSS College of Physiotherapy. The staff editor was Dr. Bipin Puneeth and Student editor was Shakeelu Rahman K. This was followed by cultural events. Students were awarded for their achievements on the same day.

CULTURALS 2015-2016

The very first event of the year was FRESHER’S DAY celebration. It was held on 21th November 2015 5pm to 10pm.

The Mr. Fresher was Akshay Kaushik , Miss.Fresher was Jeevika Naidu, Mr Handsome and Ms Elegant was Saurab and Bollamma.

The second event was Christmas celebration and was held on 20th December 2015 at 5 pm Christmas celebration was conducted from PMR ground. The crib making competition, carol competition was held by student council. Cake cutting happened from Library.

‘SARGAM 2016’ College cultural week for the students , by the students was on January 4th to 9th 2016. Off satge and on stage events were held . Nischitha R Rao of 4th year BPT was crowned as the cultural quean of the event for her all round performance.

CULTURAL REPORT 2016 – 2017

The very first cultural activity initiated by students council was NATIONAL INTEGRATION DAY on 9th November 2016. It was held at both college premises and at Ragendra auditorium. The competition conducted was dandiya, oppana, pookalam, diya with rangoli and diya decoration. The judges was invited from the JSS College of Nursing.

The next cultural activity done in college was FRESHERS DAY. It was held on 19th november 2016 at Ragendra auditorium. Ashik, Noble, Meghana and Prerana was awarded Mr. Fresher, Mr. Handsome, miss fresher and Miss Elegant respectively.

The next cultural competition initiated by students council was NATIONAL INTEGRATION DAY on 9th November 2016. It was held at both college premises and at Ragendra auditorium. The great participation from the students made it a successful event.

Christmas was also celebrated on 20th December 2016 in the crib making competition. Students and lecturers also shared gifts in their respective classes.

On 5th May 2017, COLLEGE DAY and MAGAZINE REALEASE “swaasthya_2017” were conducted at Ragendra auditorium. This was followed by cultural events. Students were awarded for their achievements on the day. The evening ended by DJ party.

CULTURAL REPORT 2017 – 2018

As part of Christmas celebration program of the college, ESTELLA 2017 was held on 08.12.17. The preparations for the program were started prior a week. On last week of November Secret Santa lots was given to all staff and students in the college. On 6th December Estella boxes was placed in front of all classrooms and one in the office.

This is to exchange the secret message to the Secret Santa’s. On 8th December at 2pm the Estella 2017, Christmas celebration was conducted from the PMR ground. The crib making competition was the first program to happen; it was from 1pm to 4pm. Judges for the events was the Sisters from Presentation Convent. At 4pm Sr. Rini and Sr. Roshni made their judgment on the basis of given criteria. Followed by Carol competition and Best Santa Competition was conducted. The competitions was followed by cake cutting and gift exchange. Mr Vijay Samuel, gave a Christmas message to all the college.
